2. Food coloring

3. Vinegar

4. Tacky glue

5. Gold foil

6. Red & purple confetti

7, Sequins or plastic gems

8. Real or fake flowers

9. Glitter

10. Paint & paintbrush

11. Cotton swabs

Preparation Before Starting

1. Read Easter Bugs by David A. Carter.

2. Hard boil your eggs and let them cool back down to room temperature before starting.

Directions

1. Dip-Dyed Rainbow Egg

Add different food coloring into cups of water. Mix and then add vinegar into each cup. Carefully dip the egg in each color to create a striped rainbow effect!

2. Golden Egg

Use a paintbrush to spread an even layer of tacky glue to the egg. Then, carefully wrap the egg with the gold foil to create the Golden Egg!

3. Ruby Red Speckled Egg

Use a paintbrush to add tacky glue to the egg. Then, sprinkle red confetti all over your egg to create the Ruby Red Speckled Egg!

4. Purple Peekaboo Egg

Use tacky glue to add a row of purple confetti near the top and bottom of the egg. Then, add yellow flowers on the center portion of the egg to create the Purple Peekaboo Egg!

5. Egg with Baby Blue Dots

To create the Egg with Baby Blue Dots, use a cotton swab dipped in blue paint to add blue dots to your egg.

6. Jeweled Egg

Create the crisscross design using tacky glue and glitter. Then, use tacky glue to add plastic gems inbetween the crisscrosses. Now your Jeweled Egg is complete!

Now you have all six eggs just like from the book Easter Bugs!

Happy Easter everyone!
