Ingredients Needed
1. Mini Apples (We found ours at our local Northgate Market)
2. Lollipop sticks
3. Caramel melts
4. Heavy cream or milk
5. Toppings (Oreos, pretzels, dried bananas, cereal, cookies, M&M's, sprinkles, etc.)
6. Frosting (You can use frosting from a tube or melt your own candy melts and put in a Ziploc bag to drizzle)
Preparation
1. Wash the mini apples and pull out the stems.
2. Push the lollipop sticks into the top of each apple.
3. Prepare the toppings by crushing them inside of a ziploc bag.
4. Mix heavy cream or milk into a bowl filled with caramel melts. Melt the caramel in the microwave until the consistency is creamy. The caramel hardens quickly, so try to work fast!
Directions
1. Dip the apples into the caramel to cover the apple as desired.
2. Roll the apple into the desired toppings before the caramel hardens.
3. Drizzle frosting for added decoration.
4. Allow caramel to completely cool before serving (about 1 hour)
Enjoy this delicious treat with your loved ones! Happy Fall!
