Create a simple, handmade plant pot for your favorite herb! This pot, adorned with beautiful dried flowers and leaves, is perfect for teaching young children about responsibility as they learn to take care of their very own plant this spring!
Materials Needed
1. White plant pot
2. Finger paints
3. Dried flowers & leaves
4. Brush
5. Pincers
6. Herb plant
7. Shovel
8. Letter beads
9. Pipe cleaners
10. Mod Podge (Tacky glue if Mod Podge isn't available)
Directions
1. Dip your fingers into the finger paint & press your fingers onto the plant pot.
2. Mix tacky glue with some water. Use a brush or pincer to add dried flowers and leaves to the plant pot.
3. Transfer your herb plant into the pot using a small shovel.
4. Spell out the name of the herb using letter beads and a pipe cleaner.
5. Stick the pipe cleaner into the plant pot and watch your herb grow!
